Vita

I have taught at Heritage Christian University since 2006. My wife and daughter and I moved to Florence, AL, immediately after (in fact, the week after) I completed my comprehensive exams in the doctoral program at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (Cincinnati). We loved living in Cincinnati (actually, Loveland) and were sad to go, but Florence is slowly becoming home.

Since living here in Alabama, we have had two more children (another daughter, then a son), I have finished my PhD, and we have begun homeschooling our kids. I do the Latin, my wife does most everything else.

At HCU, I have enjoyed teaching a variety of very good students committed to serving God in his church. As I am able, I am making incursions into scholarship, and I am seeking out how to blend a life of research with a life of faith. This blog documents some of these attempts.
