I have taught at Heritage Christian University in Florence, Alabama since 2006. I completed my PhD in the History of Biblical Interpretation at Hebrew Union College (Cincinnati) in 2010. My dissertation is published as Hebrew Scripture in Patristic Biblical Theory

My wife, Jodi, and I have six kids, ranging from a college junior to a kindergartner (as of New Year's Day, 2025).
